With cricket in India cutting across the length and breadth of country, captain cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni recently witnessed one such fan in Ranchi.
Dhoni was on his way to the Ranchi airport in his Hummer during the India Vs New Zealand ODI series when he was followed by a harmless group of girls on their two-wheelers. As Dhoni entered the airport premises, one of the girls riding her scooty drove near the departure gate following Dhoni's Hummer, wanting to see Dhoni face to face.
When Dhoni got out of his Hummer, she called out his name from afar. His security personnel became attentive immediately, but Dhoni told them to let her come.
In a masterstroke by the batsman, the girl finally had her dream-come-true moment when Dhoni obliged to taking a selfie with her.
All that effort finally paid off
