5G Network In India by 2020
Indian government wants the country to be an early adopter of 5G, which is expected to be commercially rolled out by 2020.5G is the fifth generation of wireless networks which are expected to offer not just more speed for end users and also have the capacity to connect the billions of devices like driverless cars and household appliances which will connect to the internet in the near future
Most of these patents have been filed simultaneously in the US and in India. Apart from the government, private stakeholders such as the newest telecom service provider Reliance Jio along with Tata Teleservices and Tejas Networks and a host of startups are partnering in the effort by lending their manpower and equipment
